My kennel name, Wyndrush Labradors got started during one of my trips to the UK where I purchased and imported two labradors to be introduced into my already existing hobby kennel of show dogs and family companions.
I have been involved in showing other purebred breeds since 1963 and believe that the Labrador Retriever is one of the most pleasing of all of the breeds with which I've been involved.
All of my breeding animals are certified through Orthopedic Foundation Of America., OFA Hips and Elbows, Color Doppler Heart Certified, Optigen tested for PRA, OFA Heart Certifications, EIC Tested, and their eyes are tested annually.
I breed one to two litters a year. The rest of the year I train and compete with my dog.
My dogs are family dogs first and foremost. They are raised and live in the house as family companions.
I believe that if you own a dog you live with a dog. He should be treated as a member of your family.
